UFO Expert Addresses Danbury Audience, 100 Years of Sightings

In November of 1975, two saucer shaped UFOs appeared in the skies over Ridgfield, CT.

One object was 60 feet in diameter, the other was forty feet. The underside of the objects looked like brushed metal. At their closest, one of the UAP's was hovering just 70 feet off the ground and exchanging blinking lights with witnesses.

That is just one of the many amazing sightings that were discussed during a Danbury Library virtual conference recently. The discussion was hosted by the Library but led by UFO expert/author Linda Zimmerman.

Zimmerman says Connecticut has a rich history of UFO sightings and she detailed a wide array of them during this chat titled: "100 Years of Connecticut Sightings with Linda Zimmermann." The video was posted by the Library on October 31, 2023. It's a long video but completely worth it if you're interested in this subject.

The Ridgefield story is just one of many from CT and the Greater-Danbury area. You're also going to hear Linda discuss Danbury, Newtown, Waterbury, Simsbury, Enfield, Milford, Yorktown, I-84 and Candlewood Lake.

The Connecticut stories are amazing, terrifying and analyzed in a scientific manner. Zimmerman is the author of multiple UFO books including "In the Night Sky: Hudson Valley UFO Sightings From the 1930's to the Present."
