We have a small dilemma this week with our featured pet. Tunzy was found in a New Milford backyard, but may actually have an owner.

Tunzy is a black and white domestic short hair who was recently found in a backyard in New Milford. Animal Control was called and brought her to the Animal Welfare Society. She wasn't micro-chipped, and she did not have a color with identification. All we know right now is she may have gotten lost, or got loose, or something happened that led her away from her family.

Tunzy has been at the Animal Welfare Society for about a week now, and no one has come forward to claim her.

So here are our two options:

1- we are sharing her picture and her story and hopefully her real family will come to the Animal Welfare Society and claim her.

2- Get her a new forever home so she doesn't have to stay at the shelter and wait.

She has a few unique markings and color patterns, so maybe she can be identified that way. Take a look:

They’re open Tuesday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
