More road work to change your drive on the Danbury, Bethel line. Here's the info you need to know.

No one likes when their routine is changed. But at the very least, if your routine needs to change, it's good to know about it way in advance.

To that end, here's a piece of road construction information you need to know. If this is an area your drive through, you're drive will be affected for the next few months.

In a post from the Facebook page for the Town of Bethel - CT the following news was shared:

Starting on or about April 1st, the City of Danbury will begin replacing the Reservoir Street bridge that crosses over the creek near the Bethel town line. During construction, traffic will be limited to one lane. Portable signals will be installed to control traffic.

The post goes on to say:

At about the mid point of the project, Reservoir Street will be closed completely in both directions for about 2 weeks. Notices will be posted in advance of the shutdown.
Bethel commuters are advised to seek an alternate route during construction. The project is scheduled to end by the first week of July.

Feel free to pass this on to anyone you know that drives through the area. Being prepared in advance is always helpful.
