Trader Joe's has 9 locations in Connecticut: Danbury, Darien, Fairfield, Glastonbury, Manchester, Orange, Stamford, West Hartford, and Westport. Wealthy communities? Yeah, for the most part, but it seems that every smaller city in Connecticut needs one. All of the Trader Joe's locations in CT are located in Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven counties. Litchfield County? I don't think a Trader Joe's would work in Torrington, Waterbury, or even Litchfield, but there's one town in this area desperate for that next location.
