Connecticut Concert Threatened With Gun, Police Investigate
If you are planning to go to the Dead and Company show at the XL center in Hartford tomorrow night, you may notice more a lot more security than usual. Police are taking no chances after threats were posted to Facebook.

Yes, I’m bringing my pistol to Hartford. Yes, I intend on shooting too.
Thousands of shares led to an investigation which began last week. Police do not believe that this is a credible threat since this is not the first time that the suspect has made these types of threats and he has not followed through on any of them. However, they are not taking the threat lightly and are keeping tabs on him.
At this moment the investigation is active. The suspect is believed to be on the other side of the country and currently has an active arrest warrant. The suspect also has a history of making similar types of threats towards public events.” - Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley
The band has just wrapped up two concerts in Boston and are set to perform in Hartford on Wednesday night. Dead & Company former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, Oteil Burnbridge and Jeff Chimenti.
