These Aren’t the ‘5 Best American Diners in Waterbury to Try Today’
I just clicked on an article I found through Newsbreak for Waterbury, Connecticut titled '5 Best American Diners in Waterbury to Try Today', and my advice to you is stay away. Why? None of the highlighted diners exist.
Even though I'm accused of crafting clickbait at times, I would never tell you to check out Brass City Diner, Copper Cafe, Riverbank Griddle, Naugatuck Cafe, or Clocktower Kitchen in Waterbury, Connecticut. As a 50-year resident of Waterbury, I can confidently tell you that none of those have ever existed. The article is on a domain name of 'allamericanatlas.com', and the article was supposedly published yesterday, November 3, 2024. The article was reportedly written by 'Kalyn' who describes itself as 'Born and raised in Orlando, Florida', and it's written 5 articles about Connecticut total over the past 2 years.
Drivel like "The Brass City Diner is known for it's generous servings and friendly service' and 'The kitchen makes fresh blueberry muffins daily, filled with local berries' might fool some, but I'm on to you 'Kalyn", there are no blueberries in Town Plot, and the Brass City Diner exists only in your dreams. Seriously, 'Naugatuck Cafe'? 'Copper Cafe'? Don't fall for an AI-generated article.
