I cannot resist Poutine on a restaurant or diner menu. Poutine originated in Quebec during the 1950's, it's a concoction of brown gravy and cheese curd-covered French fries. Although Connecticut is closer to Quebec than most of the United States, a dish that was created in the 1950's, poutine is not on too many menus in 2025 around here.
