My girlfriend Jen alerted me to the brand new restaurant opening in Danbury and sure enough, I saw this Instagram post shortly after that.

Click on the website for Gallo Family Restaurant and "Home is Where The Sauce Simmers" is a tagline I would love to steal. According to the site, they serve a full menu of Italian-American classics, and here is a smidge directly from Gallo:

Gallo Family is named after our owner and front-of-house manager, Raffaele Gallo of Ridgefield’s “Gallo Ristorante”. Gallo and his partner, Executive Chef Giuseppe Castellano have been working together to create classic Italian dining experiences for over twenty years. Chef Castellano’s award-winning food has become a staple for Ridgefield locals and the duo is looking forward to carving a home in Danbury as well!

You can, of course, click on their website to check out the menu, see the prices, maybe reserve a table, and check out the history. Oh and if you or someone you know is looking for a gig, Gallo's located at 116 Newtown Road in Danbury is looking for help, see all the details about that right here.

It's not every day that you get something new come into town like an incredible restaurant like Gallo and you folks in Danbury are lucky people. When you make the trip, let us know how it goes. Thanks for hanging out with me and for more unbelievably incredible articles, you can tap or click right here, including one about a cemetery that has no names on the gravestones, only numbers. Stay safe and see you all again real soon, keep going for some amazing artwork by legendary ghost hunter, Ed Warren.
