The Buddy the Beefalo story, which should be a made for TV movie, began in August 2020 when Buddy escaped from a processing plant in Plymouth, Connecticut.  A processing plant is a nicer way to say slaughterhouse and Buddy wasn't having it. He had a lot of living and sightseeing to do, not to mention hooking up with some attractive cows.

When the APB went out from Captain Ed Benecchi of the Plymouth Police Department, Buddy was labeled as a "highly aggressive" 1-ton steer, but there was no way Buddy was going to be turned into a rump roast anytime soon.
