It's definitely not something you do everyday. Actually, it's probably a once in a lifetime experience, and something that's on many people's "bucket list". I'm talking about a trip to the summit of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.

It's the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft, and the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River.

Now, you could hike to the peak, people do it all the time, but then there are those who tried to, and never made it. The weather on the mountain can turn from good to bad in a New York minute. The best way to get to the summit, is to take advantage of the Cog Railway, first opened in 1869, and probably the easiest and most scenic way up the mountain.

So, if you've never been there, you can at least feel like you're there with the gallery of photos. If you have made it to the top of the world, then you can relive the memories, enjoy.
