Super Sarcastic Sentences that Describe Us in CT, NY and Other States

Let’s say you could sum up an entire state in the United States of America with just one sentence. What would you say about us here in Connecticut and New York? I wouldn’t even know where to start.

Well the website Twenty Two Words, which is a site that actually got it’s start as a dad's blog according to CNBC, published a story that listed every state with a diss from a ticked off resident of that state. Before we get to Connecticut and New York, let me give you some of my favorites:

Alabama: We may be 49^th in everything but thank God for Mississippi

Pennsylvania: Two cities that hate each other divided by the Amish

New Jersey: Hope you like traffic

Nebraska: Corn and football...all we need

Maryland: If you can dream it we can tax it

Louisiana: New Orleans is fun. Cajun country is charming. And we're sorry about the rest.

Connecticut: Close to Boston close to New York City …but we never leave home

New York: NYC is not all of New York
