State Police Identify Victims of Tragic Oxford House Fire
The Connecticut State Police have officially identified the three local people who tragically lost their lives in relation to a recent house fire.
According to a press release from the CT State Police Public Information Office, 53-year-old Christopher S. Maseizik, 54-year-old Karl F. Maseizik and 71-year-old Nanci N. Southwell were all occupants of 63 O'Neil Road in Oxford, CT, which was the scene of an intense house fire that began on Saturday, March 23.
As previously reported, the Connecticut State Police, troopers, along side members of the Oxford PD and Fire Department, responded to 63 O'Neill Rd. at around 11:22 PM Saturday night after receiving about twelve reports of the house being fully engulfed in flames.
Obituaries for both Karl and Christopher Maseizik were published by Carpino Funeral Home and have identified the two men as brothers, while Nanci Southwell is said to have been a companion of the former.
