SodaStream Issues Huge Recall, Connecticut and New York Included

People consume soda with a vengeance. Good, or bad, soda is king. I know a lot of families that make great use of the invention known as SodaStream. If you are one of them you need to read this.
SodaStream is voluntarily recalling 51,000 bottles sold in the United States. Bottles that are used in the gadget that you use to make carbonated beverages at home.
According to sodastream.com, they are recalling the one-liter, blue-tinted, plastic carbonating bottles that have an expiration date of 4/2020 on the warning label. These are the blue bottles that are dishwasher safe. The company says that due to a manufacturing defect, they are voluntarily recalling this item. sodastreamusa.com says that the dishwasher safe bottles can burst under pressure, posing an injury hazard to the user or even people nearby.
The bottles in question were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart and other stores and online at amazon.com and sodastream.com from February 2016 through January 2017.
