Selling Slime – A Unique Way to Raise Funds for Brookfield Library

Three Brookfield Whisconier students have come up with a unique "out-of-the-box" idea to help raise money to improve the Brookfield Library.

Not that bake sales and car washes aren't spiffy ways to help raise money for worthwhile causes, but three Whisconier Middle School girls decided to go a different route to help raise money for the Brookfield Library's attempt to approve a larger building. Mycayla Canlas, Adriana Palumbo, and Chloe Morales came up with an idea to sell "Slime" for their fundraiser according to an article in the News Times. 

Some may wonder what is this slime? This slime is a very popular substance among 10 to 13-year-olds. They make it, mold it, sell it, and color it. Click on this link if you'd like to try your hand at making slime. These three young ladies not only handmade gobs of slime but sold them in decorated mason jars, plastic bags, and containers. They were even able to customize colors on the spot. Slime on young ladies and 'way to go' helping out your community!
