The most well-known and respected rock musician in the world has announced a second surprise show in New York City, there are only 500 tickets, and yes, it's already sold out.
Paul McCartney played a surprise show at the Bowery Ballroom on Delancey Street in Manhattan last night for a standing-room only crowd of around 500 lucky fans. According to the New York Post, the tickets were only $50, all of them sold out in less than 30 minutes, even though it was a one-ticket-per-person limit, and those lucky enough to snag them were treated to about an hour and a half of Beatles and McCartney classics.
The set kicked off with 'A Hard Day's Night', and then attendees were treated to a murderer's row of hits: 'Got to Get You Into My Life', 'Let Me Roll It', 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'Let It Be', 'Hey Jude', 'Jet', 'Get Back', and 'Blackbird'. McCartney is reportedly killing some time in New York as he awaits his appearance at this week's SNL 50th Anniversary concert.
