It was announced today that President Joe Biden will be making his way to Connecticut this coming month.

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy made the official announcement today (May 3) stating that President Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver the keynote address during the graduation ceremonies.

The United States Coast Guard Academy is based out of New London, Connecticut and the Commencement Ceremony will be taking place on the Cadet Memorial Field. This is President Biden's second time addressing a graduating class at the Academy, according to the post. The first time was when he was Vice-President in 2013.

This will all be happening on Wednesday, May 19 starting at 11 AM. Governor Ned Lamont commented that he was "Looking forward to welcoming President Joe Biden to Connecticut!"
