It's always a big deal when the Leader of the Free World comes to town, and it's going to be an extra busy Friday on I-84 between Hartford and Storrs this week.

News has just broke that the President of the United States Joe Biden is going to be making at least two appearances in Connecticut this Friday, October 15, 2021.

President Biden will be making a stop in our Capital City Hartford, according to nbcconnecticut.com, to promote his Build Back Better Agenda. According to whitehouse.gov, President Biden's Build Back Better Agenda is intended to create jobs, cut costs, and lower taxes for working families, which will be paid for by "Making the tax code fairer and making the wealthiest and large corporations pay their fair share."

President Biden hopes to accomplish his Build Back Better Agenda by lowering costs on: Child Care, Higher Education, Prescription Drugs, Healthcare, and Housing, while cutting taxes on families with children, and workers without children, while creating jobs through workforce training, Clean Energy jobs, and investing in teachers and schools.

After the Hartford stop, for which the time and location has not been disclosed yet, President Biden will be making a second planned stop at the University of Connecticut - Storrs.

President Biden will attend the dedication of UConn's Dodd Center for Human Rights, according to wfsb.com. The event will not be open to the public, but it will be streamed for those who wish to watch.
