Jessica Lynn held off challenges from four other local Connecticut and New York Country acts to win our Taste of Country Hometown Risers competition.

Almost 90,000 votes were cast over the last few weeks and Yorktown's own Jessica Lynn came out on top, and is our local Hometown Riser.

Jessica beat out Jordan Stoner, The Mike Collins Band, Nashville Drive and Katie Perkins to advance to the next round of the Taste Of Country Risers Competition.

Here's the final voting results:

Jessica will now advance to the National Level and compete against other Hometown Risers Winners from Country radio stations from all across America.

One of those Hometown Risers will be chosen and added to the "Hot Seat" and be named among the official 2018 Taste of Country Risers.
