Southbury Police say a road rage incident resulted in the arrest of two men, but not before one blasted the other in the face with bear repellent.

According to the CT Post, the alleged incident took place Thursday (2/20/20) around 11 AM, and cops were eventually dispatched to Old Waterbury Road.

When cops arrived on the scene, they say they encountered two men experiencing pain in their eyes and face, claiming a third man sprayed them with bear mace. The report states Jesse M. Zehall, 27, of Southbury sprayed 67-year-old Southbury resident Charles R. Weise with the bear spray after Weise struck the side mirror of the other man’s vehicle. Weise says Zehall was driving too close to his vehicle.

So everyone was wrong here -- that is my ruling, case adjourned. Who the hell has bear mace? How much work are you doing with bears in your car? Are you an Uber driver who shuttles a lot of unruly bears to and fro? Unless you're a park ranger this is not an item you need on you at all times. Calm down, Dwight Schrute.

If it can put down a bear no one should have to experience bear repellent in  their eye piece. Bears, beets, Battlestar Gallactica!
