Seven baby ducks were rescued from a storm drain yesterday (May 28) in Greenwich. The Greenwich Professional Firefighters posted the following on their Facebook page.

Seven little ducklings were saved by Engine 3 of Greenwich after they fell into a storm drain of Ritch Avenue. The firefighters were able to rescue the babies as mama waited anxiously nearby. When the family was reunited, they waddled off to safety together.

**SIGH**

It has to be baby duck day or something. This morning, I got a text from our Promotions Director, Melissa. She was getting into her car when she noticed a bunch of baby ducks walking with with mama and papa duck. She sent me a video of them as they crossed the road, ooooing and ahhhhing over how adorable they are. I told her "that's the way to start a day!" Check it out:
