Police: Man Arrested After Dancing Naked in Westchester County

It's not officially summertime in Mamaroneck until you see a man dancing naked at a gas station.

Alright, I can't resist the tacky movie line reference: "Did you ever see a grown man naked?"

Well, as you can see in the video below, one man was not only naked, but he was dancing too, and if you happened to be driving through Mamaroneck earlier this month in the area of the Sunoco gas station on Mamaroneck Ave, then you were in for a real show.

According to lohud.com, police were called to the scene when they got a report from one of the station's employees of someone acting erratically. When officers arrived, they say they discovered the man dancing completely naked right in the middle of the gas station.

Police say the 36-year-old man, whose identity has not been made public but , is from Hobe Sound, Florida. Are you surprised?

Fortunately for all of us, most of the incident was captured on video by someone who was already at the gas station. Here, the accused can be seen leaping and swirling around as more police arrived. By the way, as you may have expected, the video has now gone viral.

After the entertainment was done, police say the suspect allegedly attempted to leave the scene, but was blocked in by police who eventually had to use a taser to subdue him.

Mamaroneck Village Police Lt. Sandra DiRuzza told lohud.com that the suspect appeared to be on drugs. The man has been reportedly charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and public lewdness, which are both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, which is considered to be a violation.

DiRuzza also said the man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and given a future date to appear in Mamaroneck Village Court. Hopefully, when he appears for his court date, he's actually wearing some clothes.
