Large New Pickleball Club Set to Open in Connecticut

New businesses opening? Yes please! What's even more fun about this is that it's an activity. I spent all summer last year saying that I wanted to play tennis or pickleball - ask the people in my life, I wouldn't stop.

It's such a fun concept and everyone was doing it. I'm pretty sure there are a ton of pickleball leagues around the state now as well. Here's a great example. A quick google search and here's a website about all of the local pickleball clubs and groups near Danbury. Everything is categorized out for you, too. It looks like there is a good amount of pickleball happening even around the surrounding areas.

Pickleball Kingdom is Coming to Connecticut

Well, I have some exciting news for pickleball lovers. It looks like Connecticut is getting an entire facility dedicated to pickleball and its coming soon to Manchester. The company is called Pickleball Kingdom. It's a place for people to come and play the sport they love with outdoor surfaces but the indoor benefits. Their website says that the clubs have individually fenced courts, a mezzanine viewing area, a pro shop, snack bar, locker rooms with showers, and much more."

According to the Manchester website, it looks like the Connecticut location will be getting 10 courts. Pickleball Kingdom will be located at 169 Hale Road in Manchester. Their hours are currently TBD and there is no official opening date yet that I can see.

This is a very exciting thing for Connecticut to be getting. I can't wait to check it out and see what it's all about. I'll be sure to update you when they announce an official opening date.
