Partying at the ‘Coolest’ Place in Canada: Ottawa’s Winterlude

I found the most chill things in Ottawa over the weekend literally, as I mentioned in my most recent travel blog. Here are some even cooler things you'll find at Ottawa's Winterlude festival which is underway through February 20th. I know we've had our fair share of snow in Connecticut, but this festival gives you a great reason to head North to find even more.

Ice skating is everywhere in Canada, so it was a HUGE part of the festival.

We saw some of the most beautiful ice sculptures displayed as part of the festival. Here is just one of the many there--

The winter party scene never seems to end here. An ice sculptor crafted a special ice bar so you can get any drink on the rocks.
