A solar eclipse will take place later this month. OnlyInYourState.com states that this is the first time since 1918 that we will experience such an incredible phenomenon. In fact, some areas of our great country will be in complete darkness as the moon passes directly in front of the sun blocking it and making it seem as though the sun has disappeared from the sky. "The Great American Eclipse" will happen at 2:45pm on August 21, 2017 and will block the sun's light from Portland, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. For us here in the Northeastern states, we will experience a really cool "partial eclipse" where at least 3/4 of the sun will be blocked.

This will be a very brief once in a lifetime experience. For more info, click here.
