They traveled to the city that introduced the world to Buffalo Wings back in 1964, then marched right into the Buffalo Bills football stadium, home of a world famous wing competition, and represented Connecticut proudly.

The wing chefs at the Blind Rhino of South Norwalk, brought home some gold from the National Buffalo Wing Festival last weekend. They won 2nd place for Traditional Hot spicy buffalo wings, and 3rd place for Creative Sweet garlic parmesan wings.

Here's a statement about the win from their Instagram:

To be able to compete at the @buffalowingfestival on a national (and international) level, in an absolutely stacked field was incredible. but to take down not 1, but 2 trophies was pretty wild to us...2nd place traditional hot -> spicy buffalo...3rd place creative sweet -> garlic parmesan
(even though the competitors in us wanted a clean sweep, 1st place across the board to have buffalo natives, wing experts and other competitors enjoy all 4 flavors of our wings was honestly good enough...while accepting the 2nd place Traditional hot trophy for our Spicy Buffalo, surprised, Drew turned to us and excitedly said, “welcome to buffalo” Thanks to Drew, his staff, the epic field of bars & restaurants and most importantly our staff. Chef Angel, Mike, Jackson & Roger went 💯 with us all weekend, and repped the Rhino as their own. That was awesome. We appreciate the hospitality Buffalo, and for making us feel like rockstars.
we’ll see ya next year...
