  1. New York
  2. Chicago
  3. Los Angeles
  4. San Francisco
  5. Washington D.C.

The U.S.A.'s Top 5 Small Cities as ranked by Resonance are:

  1.  Honolulu - Hawaii
  2. Omaha - Nebraska
  3. Charleston - South Carolina
  4. Albuquerque - New Mexico
  5. Tulsa - Oklahoma.

Danbury was ranked #43 and New Haven came in at #37. You're probably asking yourself, "How did Resonance come up with their rankings?" That's a great question but it's complicated. Of Danbury, Resonance said: "Located just 50 miles north of New York City, Danbury is a small town of less than 100,000 - but it's anything but a sleepy suburb."

Resonance considered six factors as their methodology for city rankings:  Promotion, Place, Product, Prosperity, People, and Programming. To dig deeper into their methodology, visit the the Resonance Company's website here. Danbury came in hot at #3 in Resonance's 'people's' category.
