According to the department's Facebook page, a warning has been issued for residents in the area of Sunny Valley Road and Fort Hill. Apparently, there have been a rash of car break-ins and numerous reports of items being stolen from vehicles recently.

Residents are asked to be vigilant, and if you see anything that may look suspicious, or have any information about these car burglaries, please contact Officer McIntyre at 860-355-3133. All calls to the department will be kept highly confidential.
