New Milford Police Looking For Bank Robber, Reward Offered
Police in New Milford are asking for the publics help to find the suspect who robbed the Webster Bank on Main Street on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the New Milford Police Facebook Page, and with the help of security photos, the police described the suspect who robbed the Webster Bank as having a thin build and is approximately 6 foot 2. The suspect was also wearing a dark colored jacket, had on black gloves, sunglasses, a dark colored hat, and was wearing a mask. There's no report from the police that the suspect was carrying any sort of weapon.
Police are also reporting that after the robbery, the suspect fled the scene of the crime on a bicycle.
Not only is the suspect now on the New Milford Police Departments most wanted list, the Connecticut Bankers Association is also offering a five hundred dollar reward for any information leading to the apprehension and arrest of the robbery suspect.
Police are now reaching out to the local community and beyond for any information leading to the apprehension of the suspect, or any information of the whereabouts of this individual that could help police make an arrest in this case.

The latest robbery has prompted some residents to call for more security cameras in the area to be able to capture images after a suspect leaves the bank. This marks the second time in the last 6 years that this particular bank on Main Street has been robbed, and last time police had to ask the public for assistance as well.
