New Britain Resident Hits Lucky $1M Prize in Connecticut Lottery Winnings

According to CT Lottery's winners list, a New Britain resident won $1,000,000 on the 200x scratch game from the Stop & Shop in Newington located at 44 Fenn Road. To play, you have to match your numbers to the winning numbers with your chance at bonus winning numbers as well.

There is a note on the game. With the top price being $1,000,000, you can either be paid as a $1,000,000 20 year annuity or a one-time gross cash option of $750,000. Which one would you choose?

The scratch off game costs $20 to play, but you have multiple different tiers to win. The prizes range all the way from $20 to $1,000,000. There were no other million dollar winners this month that I see, but there were a bunch of pretty large winners. I wish it was as easy as it looks.
