We all know the winter months can get a little dreary and just "blah."

Many Hudson Valley families take this time of year to get out of town for quick day trips to get a change of scenery. Mystic Connecticut seems to be a popular destination year-round and their main attraction has to be the beautiful Mystic Aquarium.

This winter Mystic Aquarium is looking to give back to those in the community who have been on the front lines during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement on Facebook the Mystic Aquarium wrote:

Mystic Aquarium wants to show our gratitude and appreciation to the amazing employees in healthcare, for both humans and animals! It is no secret that the last couple of years have presented challenges and your dedication does not go unnoticed.

To show their gratitude, Mystic Aquarium will be offering complimentary entry into their aquarium to healthcare professionals. They explain further writing:

This special offer is available to all employees of healthcare including (but not limited to): hospitals, doctor’s offices, veterinary clinics, etc. We thank you endlessly for all that you have done and will continue to do for our community!

Mystic explains that tickets must be reserved ahead of time as they are " sold in timed intervals at limited capacity to ensure our guests and staff members’ safety." Mystic Aquarium is open from 9 AM to 4 PM and they sell their last tickets for admission at 2 PM.

Tickets are available for reservations from January through February 28th, 2022. You can reserve your tickets now on MysticAquarium.Org.
