Must-Try Cone in Connecticut Features An Ice Cream Bouquet

I'm so ready for ice cream season. I just recently wrote about how a local summertime favorite opened its doors for the season and I couldn't be more excited. With ice cream parlors starting to open up, that just means warm weather is on the way and we're about to have summer days finishing with a nice refreshing ice cream cone.

I was scrolling my feed and came across a "must-try ice cream cone" in Connecticut. Now listen, when I think of must-try cones, a few come to mind. Rich Farms, Stew Leonard's, Ferris Acres, etc. But this cone took me by surprise. The video definitely drew me in and now it's something I need to experience myself. Take a look for yourself.

I've never heard of Kelly's Cone Connection before but now it's a must-try. They have an insane amount of flavors which means you're automatically bound to find something that you like. Also, they do monthly specials. Each month is something different. It looks like the special for the month of April is $6 waffle cones. My favorite.

The cone in the video is what they call an "ice cream bouquet" and looks like it is 7 different flavors. Can't choose just one? No problem. I made a mistake by heading to their Facebook page and now I'm hungry.

I don't know how I've never heard of this place before, but I will be going there and reporting back. Kelly's Cone Connection is located at 2538 Whitney Ave in Hamden and is located next to the Glenwood Drive-In.

What an interesting place. I can't wait to visit.
