There's a special Baseball event featuring former Major League Players coming to Danbury this Saturday at Rogers Park.

The MLB Players Alumni Association have teamed up with Family and Children's Aid, and the Danbury Westerners to host the clinic that is sure to be a fun and memorable experience for young baseball players in the area, absolutely free of charge.

According to Family & Children's Aide website, some of Major League Baseball’s former players organize these awesome clinics, teaching both baseball and life skills.

The clinic will happen from 9 AM until noon this Saturday, June 10, and will feature up to 10 former Major League players. The first 300 kids between the ages of 6 and 16 that register will receive a free commererative t-shirt, an authentic Rawlings Major League Baseball, and tickets to an upcoming Danbury Westerners game. Plus, the players will stick around after the clinic to sign autographs.
