Millions of Eggs Recalled in New York
There’s an enormous recall of eggs that have been sent to nine states including New York, according to CBS News. It turns out that millions of eggs are being recalled from Rose Acre Farms in Seymour, Indiana. Several other states received these eggs as well including Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The eggs could have Salmonella Braederup. The contamination could cause sickness and infection to the elderly and people with weak immune systems. Other people could experience nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. To date 22 people have reported illness due to the contaminated eggs.
A total of 206,749,248 eggs are involved in this recall. Check your carton of eggs by looking at the date range of 011 through 102 on the package. They shipped from plant number P-1065. Here is the entire list of the eggs that should not be consumed. You can return the contaminated eggs at the store you purchased them for a full refund.
