The Hudson Valley was due for it to happen, and it did. A one million dollar winning Mega Millions ticket was sold recently in Pleasantville, New York according to LoHud. It’s pretty lucky to hit this jackpot because New York is just one of 44 states along with the District of Columbia, and the United States Virgin Islands that participate in the Mega Millions, so there are a lot of players.

The New York Lottery says that the one million dollar winning ticket was sold at V & D Food & Gas Inc, on 24 Marble Avenue, Pleasantville, New York. The drawing was this past Tuesday, April 10th and one million dollars was the second prize winning ticket in the drawing.

There’s no news of the winner claiming the prize but the winner has within one year to come forward for their money. In this case it will be $670,000 after taxes. Officials say that the winning numbers for the drawing were: 5-13-31-43-53-20
