This past Sunday just after 8:30 pm, a dude apparently decides he's going to jump off the Mid-Hudson Bridge.

Was he attempting suicide? Was he looking to go viral on YouTube?

According to the Hudson Valley Post, boaters who witnessed his jump off the bridge reported that he opened his parachute and sailed into Kaal Rock Park, packed up his chute, climbed into a white vehicle and drove away.

Here-in lies the problem:

Many of the witnesses who actually saw this guy jump off the bridge did the responsible thing and called 911, which brought out a full force of rescue personnel. Poughkeepsie City Police also responded and brought along their rescue boat.

The police would just love to talk with "parachute boy." If you have any information whatsoever, please call the Poughkeepsie Police Dept. at 845-451-7577.
