Many Area Resident’s Still Without Power After Last Night’s Storm
Did your lights flicker last night? If that is all that happened in your home, you are among the lucky ones. That crazy wind that we had during yesterday's storm has left thousands of Connecticut residents without power.
It appears as though the alerts and warnings about the high winds were right on target. Power was knocked out in all areas of the state. As of 1:40pm today, 129,061 customers serviced by Eversource remain without electricity from bad weather experienced during the storm. That number represents 10% of Eversource's customers.
Eversource crews continue to work on the outages and hope to restore electricity as soon as possible to all that have been affected. These are the customers, listed by town, that remain without power:
