FedEx is Now Hiring for Multiple Jobs in Connecticut
If you're looking for a new job, or just looking to get back into the workforce, there's some new opportunities in Connecticut now being offered by FedEx.
In an effort to bolster its ground delivery service in Connecticut, FedEx is adding some 1,200 jobs throughout the state.
According to indeed.com, there are pages and pages of jobs now being offered by FedEx which operates six facilities throughout the state, and currently employs more than 4,000 people.
Their website has the following hiring slogan. "From package handlers to data scientists –we have an opportunity for you."
Some of the positions now being offered include delivery drivers, human resource managers, retail customer service associates, area hub managers, service center support, and freight handlers just to name a few.
FedEx employees earn $35,000 annually on average, or $17 per hour, with the highest paying job at FedEx being Managing Director at $125,000 annually, while the lowest paying job at FedEx is a Retail Associate at $20,000 annually.
The company is also preparing for the holiday season rush and offering part-time positions, and seasonal positions.
FedEx is the latest courier company to announce substantial job openings. Amazon and UPS have already announced that they are looking to hire full and part-time workers in the state as well.
All new FedEx jobs offer a competitive pay structure and full benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits, also a $5,250 tuition reimbursement every year with no lifetime cap, and an employee discount program.

All FedEx applicants have to be at least 18 years of age, however there is no minimum education required by applicants.
