Lincoln Is a Sweet Boy Who Came to New Milford After Being Shot
He's had a rough two years so far, but now he's at the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford and he would love to get a forever home in time for Christmas.
Lincoln came to New Milford from down south where he was actually shot with buck shot. A good Samaritan found him and brought him to a shelter, where they provided immediate care for him. Then he came to Connecticut when he was rescued by the Animal Welfare Society.
Despite his set back, Lincoln, who is a Rottweiler mix, and two years old, is one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. You can even call him a 'mush' dog because he just loves to cuddle and is so well behaved.
He gets along well with everyone, including dogs and cats, and would love to be a part of your holiday in his new forever home.
