Love me some popcorn. Here's a great homegrown Danbury, CT story you can snack on.

It's good for me, is it good for you? The answer is a resounding "yes." There is even more exciting growth in Danbury — this time, in the shape of tasty treats. This girl loves her healthy snack foods, and these are, by far, some of the best I've tasted. Plus, I adore their name, LesserEvil where they say, "Ingredients Mean Everything."

Now, it's on to bigger and better things for the company. In a story from, this fabulous and local organic snack company just opened a new factory in Danbury, and what a space it is. According to the company's CEO, Charles Coristine, at 33,000 square feet, the facility is almost triple the size of LesserEvil's previous spot in Commerce Park.

Also great news for snacking freaks, it seems this bigger location will help the company expand from two production lines to four, and will aid in their ability to fulfill weekly orders for their grain-free Paleo Puffs snacks, which are due to debut at Whole Foods stores across the country in two weeks.

The caper on all of this is that the new location touts Danbury's first major outdoor mural (pictured above). with artwork created by New York and Connecticut artist, Cool Yedi AKA Yedi Fresh.

I have to tell you that I snacked my way through an entire bag of Himalayan Sweetness  and loved it, so I can't wait to see what new products they can produce from this larger location. You can keep track of them at and on all social media outlets.

I wonder if they'll partner up with Lou Milano's new snack delivery service.
