Four words, 'Loaded Mashed Potato Pizza.'

If you happen to drive by the old Melba Street firehouse in Milford, imagine that as soon as this winter, you may be able to walk in and order a 'Clams Casino Pizza' or their homemade mozzarella wedge at the new 'Fire Engine Pizza Company' location.

Back in 2015, the owners of Bridgeport's location, Martin McCarthy and Philip Segneri purchased the old firehouse at 204 Melba Street in Milford with plans to create a destination restaurant and according to the Milford Mirror, the town's Zoning and Planning Board have given the official go-ahead for a restaurant.

According to the owners, the new Milford restaurant will be much like their Bridgeport eatery at 2914 Fairfield Ave, in Bridgeport. The new Fire Engine Pizza Company has 5,000 square feet of space and seating for 100.
