Lauren Alaina made her big debut on Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (Sept. 16), and she acquitted herself remarkably well.

The country singer-turned-dancer and her partner, Gleb Savchenko, danced the cha-cha in their debut on the new season of Dancing With the Stars, performing their routine to the strains of Shania Twain's classic hit, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" The judges liked the performance, giving the dancing couple a score of 19 out of 30. Carrie Ann Inaba gave props to Savchenko for the routine and complimented Alaina in being loose in her movements, according to Us Weekly.

That was one of the better scores of the night. Newsweek reports that actor James Van Der Beek received the highest score of the night, a 21 out of 30, while Lamar Odom trailed the pack with a score of 11 out of 30. Mary Wilson received a 17 out of 30, while former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown earned a 20 out of 30.

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer got one of the lowest scores of the night, earning a 12 out of 30. Christie Brinkley's daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, stepped in at the last minute for her mom, who broke her arm during rehearsals and had to bow out of the show. She earned praise from the judges for how she was able to pull her dance together in just three days, walking away with a score of 18 out of 30.

Dancing With the Stars airs each Monday at 8PM ET on ABC.
