The Danbury Hat Tricks have a made a couple moves this month to help fill out the remainder of the roster and staff personnel. On the first day of August, the Hat Tricks announced for the team; Angelo Ciminiello, M.D. Doctor Ciminiello will lead the medical team, and has worked as assistant team physician to the Boston Celtics and Northeastern University. This won’t be his first go with a Danbury team either; he worked the same role under the Danbury Titans.

On the second day of August, the Hat Tricks announced for the team; five new players from free agency. Forwards Adam Howey, Artem Efimov-Barakov, Kendall Bolen-Porter, and Bobby Sokol,  along with goaltender Bradley Neal have been invited to the Huntsville Training Camp. Each player is uniquely experienced in hockey, and more information on them can be found here. You can catch the whole team in action on October 14th at the camp, which will be open to the public

On the sixth day of August, the Hat Tricks announced for the team; a second trade for a brand new goalie. Nick Niedert was acquired from the Columbus River Dragons for future considerations. Niedert is an FPHL champion, he won with the Watertown Wolves in 2014/15 season and had a .907 save percentage last season. In the press release that announced Niedert joining the team, he said: “It does not matter how long I’ve been doing this, every season is a new challenge and I’m looking forward to contributing in whatever role I’m going to have.”
