Is Taylor Swift heading to the Hudson Valley this month? Well, yes and no.

In the fall of 2022, Taylor Swift fans (and their family/friends/anyone they knew with WiFi) did the absolute most to get their hands on tickets to Swifts Era's tour. The tour, consisting of 52 stops across the US, sold out in minutes.

And now, ticket prices are astronomical. Thanks a lot, Ticketmaster. ::eye roll::. Swift is set to play 3 shows at MetLife Stadium on May 26th, 27th, and 28th, which are the closest shows to the mid-Hudson region.

If you were like most folks and couldn't get your hands on the hottest ticket in town, it looks like the next best thing is coming to the area.

The company Best Night Ever is bringing a Taylor Swift dance party to Poughkeepsie this month. Best Night Ever: Taylor's Version will hit The Loft at The Chance in Poughkeepsie on Friday night, March 31st. A DJ will be on hand spinning not only Swift's biggest hits but those deep cuts as well. AND requests will be played.

If you see me at The Loft crying after I request the 10-minute version of All Too Well, mind your business.

Apparently, they'll be playing music from every Taylor Swift era. So I guess it will be just like seeing Taylor at MetLife, minus her actually being there performing and the $1,000 ticket price.

Tickets are on sale now for Best Night Ever: Taylor's Version through Ticketmaster and running about $27 a ticket.

Revisiting Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' Era:

Released when she was 18 years old, Fearless was Swift's sophomore album. The best-selling album of 2009, it spent 11 weeks at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200, has been certified Diamond by the RIAA and is one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century.

Fearless was a hit at awards shows, too: In 2009, it was named CMA and ACM Album of the Year, as well as Favorite Country Album at the American Music Awards. At the 2010 Grammy Awards, Swift won Best Country Album and the all-genre Album of the Year honor for the record.
