Brookfield Police Department Promotes Jersey Mike’s Fundraiser for Special Olympics Athletes
According to a release from the Brookfield Police Department, local officers are once again getting involved in a community fundraiser that supports an organization doing incredible work across Connecticut.

Throughout the month of March, Jersey Mike’s is running its annual “Month of Giving,” and this year the effort will benefit Special Olympics Connecticut. The partnership is designed to raise money that helps provide year-round sports training and competitions for athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.
Brookfield police say they’re proud to support the campaign and plan to take part in the effort alongside members of the community.
The big day to keep in mind is March 25, which Jersey Mike’s calls its “Day of Giving.” On that day, participating Jersey Mike’s locations will donate 100 percent of their sales to Special Olympics Connecticut. That means every sandwich, drink, and bag of chips sold that day will directly support programs that give athletes the chance to train, compete, and be part of a supportive sports community.

Brookfield officers say they’ll be stopping by local Jersey Mike’s locations as part of the event to show their support and help bring attention to the fundraiser. They’re also encouraging residents to swing by, grab a sub, and take part in something that benefits people across the state.
Special Olympics Connecticut provides opportunities for thousands of athletes each year, offering sports programs that focus on inclusion, confidence, and teamwork. Fundraisers like this help ensure those programs can continue to operate year-round.
The message from Brookfield police is simple: if you’re planning to grab lunch or dinner on March 25, consider heading to Jersey Mike’s. Bringing friends, family, or coworkers along can make an even bigger impact.
Every purchase that day helps support opportunities for athletes across Connecticut while bringing the community together for a good cause. For more details about the fundraiser, you can visit SOCT.org/JerseyMikes.
