Dalmatians have a history that goes back several hundred years.

They started out as coach dogs, but have also served in many other capacities, including hunters and firehouse dogs.

The one thing that the Dalmatian is also known for is family loyalty. They are very loyal dogs, and Chip in particular gets along well with everyone. He came from a home with children, other dogs, and cats, too.

He wound up at the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford when his owners moved and couldn't bring him along. Now Chip is looking for a new family of his own and his new forever home.
