This year's Jeep fest in Carmel had a great turnout despite a hot and humid summer day.

Hundreds of Jeep enthusiasts gathered at Meadowland of Carmel to show off some of the best stock and off-road Jeeps around. There was bbq, food trucks, raffles, prizes, wounded swords and ax throwing. The proceeds benefited the Joseph P Dwyer Vet2Vet program of Putnam County.

There were all types of Jeeps, ranging from WWII Jeeps all the way up to brand new Jeep Wrangler JLs. A good amount of people tried out the RTI ramp to see how well their jeep could do on it.

Check out this photo gallery of some seriously awesome Jeeps that attended the event:

The next BIG Jeep event will be the Great American Jeep Rally held in Ellington, CT and will be on September 14 from 9 AM - 4 PM. Last year, there were over 1,300 jeeps so there will be plenty to see all day. The rally will include a Mud trench, Rock pile, Obstacle course, and an RTI ramp area.
