How I Used Chalk Paint to Transform a $12 Table From Goodwill
I had been looking for a table for our hallway but I couldn't find anything that I liked. Anything that sort of caught my eye was way more than I wanted to spend. Then, I saw a table at Goodwill for $12. It was in great shape but I hated the color.
I thought, what the heck, for 12 bucks, let me try to refinish it with chalk paint. I bought three small bottles in different colors and a bottle of wax which cost me $16 and I still have a lot of all except the base color that I used left over. I am so excited with the way it came out. I am actually obsessed with this table and can't stop looking at it so I thought I would share the process. This project took about three hours from start to finish. So while the hubby watched the Yankee game, I was right there in the living room with him refinishing this table.Take a look:
