
New York Animal Organization Looking For Answer In Horrific Case Of Animal Cruelty
A large reward is being offered for information regarding an animal cruelty case in Upstate, New York.
Young Dog Found in Distress and Emaciated in Rensselaer, New York
The Humane Association of New York State in Kingston, New York is looking for answers regarding a dog was found in Rensselaer, NY on April 5th.
According to a press release the black, male dog, with white markings was found emaciated and in distress on 3rd Street porch.
The 2-year-old dog was taken to a local veterinary hospital to undergo a screening after being found in such poor condition.
Sadly, the dog was euthanized due to the state of his health.
NY Animal Organization Looking For Answers in Horrific Animal Cruelty Case
The Rensselaer Police Department shared the press release from the Humane Association of New York State looking for more information about the dog and his owners.
In the statement they Humane Association writes:
"The dog was approximately two years old, male, and wore a distinctive collar. Someone must know something to help the police solve this horrific case of animal cruelty."
Anyone with information is asked to call the City of Rensselaer Police at 518-462-7451. The New York State Humane Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of "the person or persons responsible for abandoning" the dog.
