Yes, today is February 2nd, and yes, today all eyes were on Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and the world’s most famous groundhog, Phil.

I know there’s really only 6 more weeks of winter as far as the calendar goes (come on March 20!) but getting an early reprieve from Punxsutawney Phil, the prognosticator of all prognosticators, would be sweet even though this winter hasn't been all that bad so far. Now it may seem like a silly tradition, did you know that a quarter of American's say they've never even seen a real Groundhog, but you have to admit that it sure looks like a lot of fun being there. It's actually one of the things to do on my bucket list.

Well Phil did see his shadow, and that means we're in for 6 more weeks of winter weather.

At around 7:15 this morning, he awoke from his burrow at Gobblers Knob and, in groundhog-ese, gave us the news that almost no one wanted to hear.
