Free Gas Today with ‘Gas on God’ Event Pumping Up to $5,000 of Gas

A church in Hartford is hosting a special free gasoline give away event today according to Fox 61 Hartford. It’s first come, first served. Members of the church are pumping up to $5,000 worth of gasoline for anyone who stops by, and with today’s high prices, that gasoline may go pretty fast. Mount Olive Church Ministries is located in Hartford on 20 Battles Street.

There are two locations where the give away is taking place. Starting at 9 am at they will be pumping at the 7-Eleven between Park and Prospect Avenue, and then beginning at 11 am they’ll be located at the Albany Avenue Mobil gas station, both in Hartford.

The Mount Olive Church in Hartford's project today marks the third year in a row that they've been doing this for the community. It's called the annual “Gas on God” event. With gasoline prices as high as they are, this is a real good deed for anyone who could use a little help.
